Your Voice Matters—Help Shape Proposed Local Policy

The Thurston County REALTORS® Association is hosting a Home Energy Score Listening Session to provide REALTORS® with early information and a meaningful opportunity to share feedback on a proposed Home Energy Score policy being considered locally.

Representatives from the Cities of Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and Thurston County will provide a brief overview of the Home Energy Score—what it is, how it works, and what a proposed policy could mean for home sellers, buyers, and REALTORS®. Following the presentation, the majority of the session will be dedicated to questions, discussion, and practitioner feedback.

This session is designed to:

  • Share clear, practical information about the Home Energy Score
  • Explore how a proposed policy could impact real estate transactions
  • Create space for REALTORS®—as on-the-ground professionals—to offer insight, concerns, and suggestions

Your experience matters. Policymakers want to hear directly from those who work with buyers and sellers every day, and this session is your opportunity to help inform how any future policy is shaped.

All REALTORS® are encouraged to attend and participate.
